Our Famous Cotswold tour visits the charming North Cotswolds region which we call home. Idyllic villages, elegant grand homes, blooming gardenshistoric castles and palaces, and delightful scenery, the Cotswolds is a great escape to relax. With a wonderful food scene, famous boutique shops, award-winning family attractions, locations to many films and a well-preserved heritage, there is a lot to see. Your local guide will tailor your day around your interests and what you want to see and do.

 

We can you to the well-known highlights like Chipping Campden, and Lower Slaughter, off the beaten track villages such as Blockley and Stanton, or explore sites like Daylesford Farmshop and Sudeley Castle, or even pick strawberries on a Cotswold farm.

South Cotswolds & BATH

A tour of the South Cotswolds and Bath offers something for all interests and it is one of our most loved tours; a unique blend of quiet countryside, picture perfect villages, remarkable Georgian architecture, world-famous gardens, celebrated antique shops, thriving food and drink scene, and historic preserved Roman sites.

The South Cotswolds will be known to many by Lacock a village famed for it’s TV & Film which is a must see, a mix of Cotswold stone and medieval homes, and the village of Castle Combe known to many as the ‘prettiest village in England’. Bath is our favourite City in England, make sure to see the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey,and take in afternoon tea at Royal Crescent Hotel.

SHAKESPEARE & WARWICK CASTLE

For those with interests in history, literature, medieval England or for our families our Warwick Castle and Shakespeare day tour is for you. 

 

Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace and home of the world famous William Shakespeare. We shall lead you on a Cradle to Grave walking tour from the birthplace, Shakespeare's school, the family homes, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and to his grave. All of these sites you can enter if you wish for a detailed tour.

At Warwick Castle you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of history and interact with live demonstrations and talks throughout your visit. Head to the dungeons as live actors and special effects bring to life the gruesome tales of the Castle's history.

Our Downton Abbey Tour main highlights will take in the village of 'Downton' which is in fact the village of Bampton, filming locations around the Cotswolds and the stunning Highclere Castle which is the main Downton house in the series'.

Although based on Northern England the Cotswolds honey coloured-stone was the perfect match for the screen, and so we are lucky to be able to combine showing you the best of the Cotswolds with many Downton sites along the way. You can walk the aisle in the church where all the filming for the weddings and christenings was shot, you can wander around Highclere and witness what life was like and visit sites such as the farm and pubs used throughout.

Our Cotswolds Garden Tour is one of our most loved tours. We shall bring alive the dream of the traditional English garden as we show you around some of the most beautiful gardens in England whilst exploring the local Cotswolds villages along the way.

The North Cotswolds region is home to a host of award-winning gardens from the picture perfect Hidcote Manor to the charming gardens of Bourton House and the tranquil Kiftsgate Court Gardens. Whilst in the South of the Cotswolds, you could visit Miserden Gardens, Painswick Rococo Gardens and a stop for tea at Whatley Manor. One of our favourite stops is Prince Charles’s famous Highgrove Gardens which is a must see for any gardener.

The Cotswolds are steeped in many centuries of history and this tour will explore many of the events that shaped the history of England.

 

We could visit Blenheim Palace one of the finest Palace's in Europer and the home of Sir Winston Churchill. Next up we could visit the impressive Rollright Stones, the Cotswolds mini Stonehenge with many stories. We could stop for lunch at a 16th century inn or perhaps The Porch House the oldest inn in England, from 949AD.

Our Historic Cotswolds tour could end with visits to Warwick Castle, Sudeley Castle, Hereford or Gloucester Cathedral or the Roman City of Bath.

Despite worldwide fame, The Cotswolds are still full of secret escapes that only true locals know about. We keep our best secrets until you're here but here are a few hints to wet your appetite.

As we stroll down Broadway you can meet and play with the fox hounds kept of the back of the high street, or perhaps you’d like to wander across a Cotswold farm and pick some fresh vegetables for dinner. Maybe you would like to see Medieval wall paintings in the oldest church in the Cotswolds or find out where Jane Austen used to visit her Uncle. See the house where Lewis Carroll began the idea of Alice in Wonderland and the unusual tree trunk that Tolkien used as the Doors of Durin in Lord of the Rings.

We will show you the best of the Cotswolds without the tourists, immersing you into life as a local.

Our Blenheim Palace and Oxford tour will tick off two must see destinations when visiting England. Blenheim Palace one of Britain’s finest palaces and it’s wonderful connection to our great leader Sir Winston ChurchillOxford the historic City and University that has educated and inspired so many people that over centuries to change the World we live in.

 We can explore a few of the 38 colleges of Oxford, each of which has its own character and we can explore these in depth and see how Oxford is still regarded as the No 1 College in the World, as well as the historic sites around the City. At Blenheim marvel at this masterpiece as we tour inside the Palace.

Our Family Fun in the Cotswolds tour is designed to give the whole family a great day out and most importantly entertain the kids! Having grown up in the Cotswolds all with families ourselves we know the best things for families to do in the Cotswolds.

From bottle feeding lambs, climbing the spiral staircase of Broadway Tower, wandering through ancient woodlands, discovering the King turned to Stone at Rollright Stones, indulging in a chocolate inspired afternoon tea or simply picking vegetables on a farm these are just a few things we could do on our tour.

​

We also have a huge array of private family experiences we offer that aren't listed on our website such as falconry experiences, sheepdog demonstrations, private baking classes to name a few.

This all day tour takes in the North and South Cotswolds and, of course, all areas in between. We’ll take you to all the well- known highlights including, Bibury, Castle Combe and Tetbury, but we’ll also take you off the beaten track, using our local knowledge to give you a real taste of the Cotswolds away from the tourist centres.


We’ll take you to the pretty village of Snowshill where Bridget Jones met Mark D’Arcy. Visit Lacock Abbey, famous in modern times for its film connections but it’s stunning cloisters are worth seeing. You could explore The Rollright Stones, the Cotswold’s very own version of ‘Stonehenge’ dating back to 3,800 BC. We'll show you the highlights of the Cotswolds whilst showing you hidden away gems.

BATH & STONEHENGE

Our Bath & Stonehenge tour is a must do tour for anybody coming to England for the first time.

 

We shall show you the world famous site of Stonehenge and the City of Bath, but our certified tour guides know so much about the area they will whisk you away from the tourists and show you the quiet areas too. The surrounding burial mounds that link to Stonehenge and it’s history and the back streets of Bath are truly stunning.

​

In Bath the Roman Baths and Abbey have to be seen, but take time to visit the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge too.
